update on S2k cluster swap

some what working, I think I'm done with the wiring, but i cant try it out yet because i have a short circuit. Once i fix it, then i can try out the cluster.

S2K cluster and Digital climate control

I ordered an S2000 cluster yesterday and it came in today! i got it off ebay for $162 shipped, it doesnt come with harness though, but it shouldnt be hard at all to wire it up. I'm so excited to get it working and drive around with it! well here it is

I also started on sanding down my digital climate control, there was a pretty deep scratch on the face plate, but i messed up big time. It looks like the plastic face is pretty thick, so im going to try and sand it down just to even out the face. Hopefully it will work, if not; ill just have to get a new unit, because i doubt i can just get a face plate.

Then i started sanded it down with 220 grit sand paper, also wet sanded it, i still need to sand it down with higher grit sand paper.

I also bought a dremel kit at costco today for $33

More sanding.. i sanded it down with 400 grit and 600 grit sand paper. I then polished it, polished it, and polished it. Heres the finish product.

Sti Brembo Brake, DONE!

Well im not going to start from the beggining, so im just going to skip a bunch of chapters.

but anyways, 2 days ago i recieved my 17/16 Z32 brake master cylinder, and i get to work like always.

I bought some Dot 4 brake fluid at O'reilley's for my Sti Brembo brakes and back in the day before i even thought about Sti brembo's. I bought a brake line tool kit alone with fittings and hardlines, I was going to make new brake lines untill chase bays came out with their braided brake line kit. So yeah, I bended some lines to bench bleed my brake master cylinder, and here is a picture when it was done.

Braided lines
Mitsubishi Evo 9 front 320mm cross drilled and slotted rotors
Nissan 300zx rear cross drilled and slotted rotors
Nissan 300zx e-brake assemby
Nissan 300zx Brake booster
Nissan 300zx 17/16 Brake master cylinder












This is how the car sits at the moment, instant G kit, OEM fenders, and hood hopefully next month.
